Affectionately known as Captain, Chef Cynthia Cheatham is the heart behind Captain's Cuisine. A retired educator, devoted mother, servant leader, and evangelist in her church, Cynthia brings more than 25 years of culinary experience to every table she serves.
Much of her journey has been spent preparing meaningful meals through ministry, where food became a way to connect, comfort, and care for others. Inspired by faith, fishing, music, and fellowship, Captain creates warm, thoughtful dining experiences where every detail is prepared with care.

Booking Information
Booking, Deposit & Cancellation Policy
Securing Your Date — 30% Deposit Required
A 30% booking and security deposit is required to reserve your requested event date. A date is not considered confirmed until the deposit has been received by Captain's Cuisine.
72-Hour Cancellation Grace Period
If you cancel in writing within 72 hours of receiving your booking confirmation, your 30% deposit may be canceled without penalty and refunded in full.
Cancellations After the 72-Hour Grace Period
After the 72-hour cancellation grace period has ended, the 30% booking and security deposit becomes non-refundable for any client cancellation. This deposit helps cover reserved time, planning, and advance preparation for your event.
Final Payment Due 14 Days Before Your Event
The remaining balance is due in full no later than 14 calendar days before the event date. Any changes to payment arrangements must be approved by Captain's Cuisine in writing before the due date.
Nonpayment or Unapproved Payment Changes
If final payment is not received by the required due date, and no revised arrangement has been approved by Captain's Cuisine, the event is subject to cancellation. In that circumstance, all payments made are non-refundable.
